After 23 years of having just one Aglow fellowship in Thailand (Bangkok), a new fellowship has just started in Chiang Mai. The president of the Bangkok fellowship, Mary Rink, and others from her group traveled to Chiang Mai several times to meet with women who were interested in starting a new fellowship. The result of these meetings is that this new Aglow fellowship is now ready to be affiliated!
The new Aglow fellowship in Chiang Mai “has been supporting a Christian orphanage”. They purchased “a rice cooker, hangers, mortar and pestle, an ironing board and iron, and seeds to sow to grow vegetables” for the orphanage. Mary said, “we are in the process of finding out where to buy chickens and a roaster”.
Please pray that the Lord will bless this brand new fellowship that is already serving the community, and that other doors of opportunity will be opened for Aglow in Thailand.
