Thousands coming to Christ in India

February 27, 2008

Merina Netto, our National President for Aglow India, has the following to report, "January 26th was India's Republic Day (the day in 1950 when the Constitution of India was adopted and India transitioned to being a republic).  All the Christian churches in Mumbai came together for an All Mumbai Prayer meeting to mark the occasion. Aglow played an important part in leading this meeting for the churches.

Some of the reports from the pastors at the meeting were very exciting.  They said that there is a great move of God in the nation.  One pastor said that 10,000 people in his region have come to the Lord recently and that there is a great need to mentor and teach the newcomers.

Another pastor, who came from Andhra Pradesh (a state in India), said that as he was praying for a blind man, all those who were on the platform received healing from their diseases.  Signs and wonders are taking place, including the “raising of the dead” in the villages of India.  The pastor requested me (Merina) to put in a prayer request among the Aglow intercessors to pray for God to raise up leaders and mentors for the thousands that are coming to the Lord."

Pray for a continued blessing upon Aglow's work in India.  Give now to support the work of Aglow worldwide.
