Aglow Cyprus is Emerging

Aglow is emerging in a beautiful way in the lovely island nation of Cyprus in the Mediterranean Sea. Being overseen by Aglow Britain, Aglow Cyprus held their second meeting in December.  22 women attended the meeting in Paphos where Glenys MacDonald and Anne Donaldson from Aglow Britain spoke and ministered.  After the worship time in which there was a sense of God’s presence, Glenys and Anne showed Aglow at a Glance, the Israel DVD, and The House of Aglow DVD.  Three women responded at the end by re-committing themselves to God.  A team of 8 women are forming the core leadership group of Aglow Cyprus. 

The day following the meeting the Aglow Britain team had a chance to meet with pastors and leaders of local churches at a Coffee Morning held by the New Testament Community Church.  They were warmly received.  Some of the pastors are eager to attend the January Aglow Cyprus meeting in which men will be invited, and others wish to meet with the Aglow Britain team when they come again in February.

When the women from Aglow Britain checked out of the hotel they were met with great favor by the hotel manager.  Even though the numbers were lower than they had booked for, he generously refused to charge them the full amount!  The manager was very interested in Aglow and was invited to attend the next meeting.

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!" Isaiah 52:7
