In response to Jane Hansen Hoyt’s s recent blog, Prepared for This Time, Batseba Kaimu, the National President of Aglow Namibia, wrote, “Every day God reveals Himself to us. In Namibia, there is a rising of God’s truth and His word is being proven again through works of reconciliation, redemption, and supernatural power.”
Reconciliation
Kaimu said, “When we first began our outreaches in Gobabis there was a pastor who severely persecuted us making the work there very difficult. The last time we were in Gobabis with our outreaches this pastor made peace with us. He asked for our forgiveness, prayed for us, then even went so far as to arrange everything for our conference to be held at his church!”
Redemption
“We recently had an all-night prayer vigil with 90 women in attendance, including one of the princesses of Namibia. At the meeting the princess gave her life to Jesus along with 15 other women. The presence of the Lord was strong the entire evening.”
Supernatural Power
Along with compelling testimonies of unity and salvation, many wonderful miracles have been taking place:
- A husband who had separated from his wife and moved out of the house finally returned home. • A woman who had been told by doctors that she would never have children because her female organs were not functioning properly, began to function normally again.
- A woman who could not walk far because she suffered from kidney failure was restored to health. She is now walking long distances!
- A four month old baby who had been crying day and night since birth was brought to a meeting. The doctors had told the mother that crying was normal. After prayer, the mother took the child to a different doctor who diagnosed the problem and immediately admitted the child to the hospital for surgery.
Aglow President Kaimu further reported, “We have aligned with many churches. Everywhere we go people are looking for Aglow women and men. God is doing miracles like never before. I praise God to be part of Aglow at such a time as this.”
Aglow Namibia is grasping ahold of what it means to become a Kingdom community!
