Found a job through Aglow

My best friend in Florida is the president of the Women's Aglow chapter in Sarasota. I had just relocated to Lexington, Kentucky to find work. My transition and move were hard and difficult and I did not know anyone but my daughter. She suggested I attend the local chapter of Aglow to meet like minded women. I am so thankful to God I listened to her. I sat down at the meeting next to a wonderful woman of God named Peggy.

After talking, she got my phone number and email. It turned out that Peggy knew of a job and felt the Holy Spirit was leading her to send that job posting to me. I applied and got the interview. Six weeks later God blessed me with the first good paying full time job I had had in many years. I can't begin to testify how God has used just 3 meetings with Aglow to begin to fufill his plans for me here in Lexington.

I had applied for 468 jobs before I met Peggy at Aglow. I had gotten down to just a few dollars in my bank account. I also had a person just come up and give me $20 after one of the meetings. God is so faithful to us. I humbly hope to give back. God bless Aglow. Julie Burke
