It is time to be relentless in calling ourselves up to the place
we are meant to occupy.

His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that are suited to life and godliness, through the full, personal knowledge of Him who called us by and to His own glory and excellence.  2 Peter 1:3 (Amp)

We have stepped into a crash course in what it means to be amazing!

One night this summer, I invited my granddaughter Madison to spend the night with me.  Tony was away so it was girls’ night; pizza, singing songs together from her iPod, laughing at funny things we saw on TV and just immensely enjoying being together.  At one point in a fun conversation I mentioned something I have observed about her in her 14 years of life.  You are so confident and happy.  You never seem unsure about meeting new people or facing new situations.

I went on to tell her that when I was her age, I was really shy and not at all like she is.  Her startled eyes revealed as much as the words that came out of her mouth.  GJ, I wish I had been born in your generation.  I could have helped you!  What a touching response from one who genuinely felt she could have helped me in my own young struggle.

Each one of us has had things in our lives that perhaps held us back in certain stages of growth.  We have all come out of a broken, worldly system that had its effects on our lives, our beliefs, our perception of ourselves…and some of those old mindsets can remain as trigger points in our lives.

The Cross Changed Everything

God dealt with our sin and the effects it had on our lives and He is now focused on righteousness...not sin.  2 Corinthians 5:21 says, Jesus became the embodiment of sin, so that we could become the embodiment of righteousness.

We are a redeemed people, a people set free to no longer live out of past hurts and mindsets, but to live in the freedom of righteousness that Jesus died to give us.  And, God has given us a Helper, in the person of the Holy Spirit who works to establish righteousness as a lifestyle as He empowers us to become Christ like.

Everything is an opportunity to move up to the level we want to live on, and to become how God sees us!

· Refuse to live in negativity.
· Refuse to replay your carnality tape.  The Holy Spirit is reprogramming you.
· Refuse the habits of thinking and behaving in ways that go with that old carnality tape.
· Give up feelings of anger, hurt, and bitterness, feelings of this is unfair.
· We are learning to live on a different level with new mindsets.

Why not write a statement about yourself while in the process of renewing your mind: This is who I am and this is how I will show up!

·  We want to encounter and experience God in every way possible.
·  We want to move into fullness because we are fed up with measure.
·  We want to move into abundance and stop living out of a poverty mindset in every
   area of life.
·  We want to understand ourselves the way He understands us.
·  We want to have the journey that He has set aside for us and become the man or the
woman that Jesus actually created us to be in Him.

It is time to be relentless in calling ourselves up to the place we are meant to occupy.

It is not us who are amazing, it is Him, all Him. We had better not be thinking WE are amazing. We should be thanking Him and be humble before Him and wait upon Him. HE is Holy, we are not.

Powerful words. I am finding it is time to see myself and others through the eyes of the Holy Spirit. I am thankful to you and Graham for you teachings praise God for Aglow and how he uses us all to minister to one another and to love all people. I love being apart of Aglow because the Word of God is being taught.

God's Word is amazing and His sending His Holy Spirit to teach us out of that Word is awesome also. Before I received the fullness of His Holy Spirit in 1976 I could not understand the Word very well. And soon after that baptism, I was led to two bible studies. One was called Good New Neighborhood bible study and used the Good News New Testament. The other was an Aglow Fellowship Bible Study which I kept attending for years!! I was 42 years old then and now I am 77. I have been a part of Aglow for these many years. It surely has been a blessing for me. Thank our Lord.

    SPIRITUAL GROWTH.......
when we are new, we are new indeed, when we are learning, we are growing to feed, but when we are mature, we know what we need, the Holy Spirit's measure in full, of God's free gift, oh what a pleasure, Oh what a measure, when we know God, such a great treasure. Love you all, Keep on believing and receiving God's Treasure
    God Bless

I'm so grateful that He started the work in transforming me, and Philippians 1:6 says He's going to finish it. He knows what He's doing, and lets me participate in the process. From glory to glory, increasing in revelation of His word and knowledge of His great love. Pour it in! He's so lavish with His love toward us.

Good morning from Reykjavik. (Góðan daginn frá Reykjavik!)
Love your blog Jane and your thoughts this morning. I will pick up " Everything is an opportunity to move up to the level we want to live on, and to become how God sees us!"

It amazes me that the very thing God is doing in my life is the exact thing that is expressed through Aglow. It reassures me that I am 'on track' with God. Thank you Jane for expressing it so beautifully.

Thank you for that encouraging word Jane. I am amazing because He, Jesus, transferred His amazing grace, to me, from my Father in the form of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said to his disciples, of which I am one, that greater things we would do. I am blessed and highly favored of God and I will do amazing things, because my Father says so, and I believe and proclaim it only because of who He is. Pressing on to the high calling of Jesus the Christ.

......relentlessly pursuing the life God has planned for me. Praise God for Aglow who teaches and has brought women to that place of knowing who they are in Christ, Jesus, and the kingdom of God. Aglow has made a difference in my life and I want to take that to the women all around me that I see living below the spiritual poverty line. God bless Aglow! God bless you Jane!

Oh, what a wonderful Redeemer!! Thank God, for His Amazing Grace...He came to make our life "new" and "abundant" through the Cross, transforming us by His Word, His Presence and by the Spirit. The Holy Spirit so wants to be part of our life to bring us into that place of wholeness so that we, too, can be part of seeing others healed and set free to live this awesome life He has called us to. His Kingdom come, His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven!! Blessings to you.

"We want to have the journey that He has set aside for us" ... It is so much better to be on His journey rather than our own! I went on a mission trip back in 2007 and never thought I'd go on another until God called me last Sept at the Aglow conference in Houston. God answered many of my prayers in sending me to Brazil to teach quilting with Aglow Transformations Micro Business. You can read about our awesome God journey here ... http://kwinrc.blogspot.com/2012/05/no-tchau.html

[If] is a dangers cliff to stand on. Faith is our key to move forward in this hour. Enter into his rest he is working in and through us for his good pleasure. praise him!

Your word is spot on. I was shy very young and endured a lot of abuse. But when I learned how to use things that happened and the Word of our Lord as a springboard platform to greater confidence and closer relationship with the Lord things soared beyond my imagination. We are not what we are called, only what we accept. O am a child of the Almighty King of Glory. What a privilege. Thanks for the blog, Jane.
